This amazing demonstration of quantum levitation gets the imagination flowing as well as making scenes of levitating cars in movies like minority report seem less far fetched. I wonder this technology would change Brisbane transport modes along with the infrastructure that enables it. It is not hard to imagine the demise of the traditional rail sleeper in the advent of this technology which could result in the traditional rail corridor being rethought.
I would like to investigate a future scenario that involves alternative uses of the existing rail corridor and station infrastructure.
