WK05 Lecture Reflection: Strategic New York

New York had a problem in the form of a derelict rail way line that ran like a scar through the streets and between buildings. In the case of the High Line the problem was converted quite directly into an architectural opportunity. Perhaps the effect that the High Line has had on development in the area is the most significant

Strategic Paddington..

What is the problem/opportunity?

The Paddington problem may not be as obvious a decaying railway track, however, issues may present as social disconnection or cultural dilution.
